Martha Stewart’s new recipe: chill, food and the company of our best friends

The enterprising American businesswoman and mass guru Martha Stewart is once again the protagonist of our current affairs section after the resounding success of her cannabidiol (CBD) gummie treats distributed on all the shelves of the United States for a few months.

And as we reported last December, on Sunday the 24th, the versatile business woman from Polish background took the first steps of her showing the United States public how to make marijuana cookies. It was for one of her promo videos for the cooking show that she hosted with her fellow professional for over a decade and good friend of her, Snoop Dog, whom she gifted with the cookies for Christmas.

During the broadcast, she did not hesitate to express her liberal attitude towards marijuana, stating that she would consider using it for experimental purposes.

Stewart introduced a line of cannabis-based soft chewy oils and gummies for pets last Tuesday.

This new chapter of her adventure in the cannabis universe comes from the hand of Canada’s Canopy Growth Corp WEED TO, CGC.N, associated for almost a year with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, a company with which he has managed a wide variety of businesses since 1997 and two years later, in 1999, it rang the bells in the New York City Stock Market.

The Canadian company is the world’s leading pot producer and taking advantage of the meteoric increase in demand for its products, they have decided to open new market avenues by targeting human beings’ best friends, their pets.

It should also be taken into account that during 2020, due to COVID-19 and the subsequent home isolation, stress and anxiety have been the daily bread in many homes and cannabis a good remedy to counteract it. In fact, cannabis-based food products such as chocolates, gummies and herbal teas have experienced growth in demand; being one of the most sought after items.

Martha Stewart is an American retail businesswoman, writer, television personality, and former model.

And CBD, a non-psychoactive component of cannabis, due to its non-intoxicating and relaxing properties, is in the focus of numerous medical research. And of course, it is also one of the focuses of Stewart’s recent forays into the market.

“My dogs […] are part of my family, and I prioritize their physical and emotional well-being, just as I do with myself” and added “in the same way that CBD stimulates the well-being of the human being it will also improve the quality of life of pets ”, she wrote in a statement.

The new ventures of Martha Stewart, a successful businesswoman with a well established career, are remarkable for many reasons. The most remarkable: the segment of the public that she represents and her enormous influence in the mass media and as well in the US financial market.

Who can avoid her recipe: chill, food, pleasure, well-being and the company of our best friends?
