In Granada Righteous Pay for Sinners

The OCON Sur group of the Spanish Civil Guard discovered that a Grow Shop in Granada had more than 13,000 cannabis plants in possession.
Since the sale of marijuana -be it for medicinal or recreational use- is prohibited in these types of stores, it pushed them to continue investigating and registering several Grow shops in Granada and also triggered the request to close this commercial activity.

So far, the OCON group’s ‘Castrum’ operation already has more than thirty detainees and has not yet concluded.

The basis of this police investigation begins with a Grow Shop located in the Las Rosas de Chauchina industrial estate, supposedly it was intended to supply the growers of cannabis plantations and then bought the crops from these clients to resell them to third parties.
After that, he pulled marijuana out of Spain with a triple or quadruple profit.
His story ends with 30 detainees, 60,000 euros and different firearms.

Unfortunately, the story does not end here, since the Civil Guard has asked the judicial authority “to cease the activity of the grow shop companies, as it is a criminal instrument, as well as the judicial closure of their establishments.”

This means that it will affect all Grow stores in Granada, there are currently around eighty establishments of this type, and in 2014 there were only forty.

There has already been justice for the people who were in charge of the grow shop in ´Las Rosas de Chauchina´, but it seems that the 80 stores are going to suffer as well, without sufficient reason.
