It seems that Andorra joins the idea of wanting to be a green country.
The Department of Agriculture is studying the project of being able to grow cannabis for therapeutic and medicinal uses and, apparently, they plan to have a response by the end of December.

For this reason The Minister of the Environment, Sílvia Calvó, considered it appropriate to start with the cultivation of cannabis. Among other projects favoring the agricultural sector of the country.
The minister has made it clear that, the decline in income that farmers have suffered from tobacco will be rewarded by different sources.
Such as the cultivation of cannabis. Obviously, the culture will be very controlled and only for therapeutic use. Another reason to value this change is with the consent of the farmers, who, in most cases, have shown great emotion for this initiative. They themselves have valued starting the project by growing cannabis in greenhouses.
Andorra follows the development of Canada and Switzerland as an example.
