En fait, chaque fois qu'elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9e depuis 1981, cette fois en possession de 8 kilos de cannabis, elle n'a jamais pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 d'excuses \u00e0 la police ni fait preuve de la moindre retenue dans sa vision ouverte sur le m\u00e9dicament qu'elle fabriquait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary vendait dans la rue des brownies qu\u2019elle appelait \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9licieusement magique\u00a0\u00bb, mais c\u2019est au sein de la communaut\u00e9 du HIV qu\u2019elle devint c\u00e9l\u00e8bre en les offrant gratuitement aux patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c7a en dit beaucoup sur son caract\u00e8re, puisque tout a commenc\u00e9 alors qu\u2019elle voulait juste aider ses amis gays, qu\u2019elle appelait \u00ab\u00a0ses enfants\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arr\u00eater une grand-m\u00e8re<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Elle fut arr\u00eat\u00e9e trois fois en possession de cons\u00e9quentes quantit\u00e9s de cannabis, la majorit\u00e9 \u00e9tant offert par les importateurs et les cultivateurs locaux pour aider sa cause. Une cause pour laquelle elle \u00e9tait pr\u00eate \u00e0 aller en prison, comme elle affirma dans un entretien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle ne pr\u00e9parait pas seulement des browniens pour aider les patients atteints du SIDA (un sujet d\u00e9j\u00e0 suffisamment tabou \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque),<\/p>\n\n\n\n

mais elle \u00e9tait aussi une avide activiste qui a aid\u00e9 le mouvement qui apporta les premiers distributeurs l\u00e9gaux de marijuana m\u00e9dicale<\/a> en Californie (proposition 215). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle aida \u00e9galement \u00e0 faire passer plusieurs lois \u00e0 San Fransisco (comme la \u2018\u2019preposition P\u2019\u2019) permettant l\u2019usage de marijuana m\u00e9dicale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle ne faisait pas que les pr\u00e9parer mais elle les mangeait \u00e9galement. Elle surv\u00e9cut \u00e0 un cancer du colon et se d\u00e9pla\u00e7ait avec deux faux genoux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lorsqu\u2019on lui demanda en entretien comment elle voulait qu\u2019on se souvienne d\u2019elle,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
