Le 6 Mars 2021, la province de Buriram dans le Nord Est de la Tha\u00eflande a accueilli la foire exposition \u201c360 Cannabis & Hemp for the people\u201d. La demande pour la plante m\u00e9dicinale a explos\u00e9 dans tout le pays depuis la nouvelle l\u00e9gislation mise en place par le gouvernement qui autorise l\u2019usage du chanvre dans les produits cosm\u00e9tiques et d\u2019alimentation. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019 objectif de cette exposition<\/a> \u00e9tait de promouvoir les entreprises locales offrant \u00e0 ce jour des produits \u00e0 base de chanvre ainsi que d\u2019\u00e9duquer et informer les consommateurs potentiels et actuels sur l\u2019utilisation de cette plante. Les visiteurs ont eu l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 d\u2019essayer diff\u00e9rents produits, parmi eux des nouilles traditionnelles, de la glace et des boissons, \u00e0 base de chanvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Withid Sardeechaiko, d\u00e9put\u00e9 responsable de la sant\u00e9 public dans la r\u00e9gion de Buriram est confiant que le chanvre, aussi connu sous le nom de Ganja en tha\u00ef, am\u00e9liora la qualit\u00e9 de vie des citoyens et aidera le pays \u00e0 se relever \u00e9conomiquement apr\u00e8s la crise sanitaire provoqu\u00e9e par le virus COVID19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La marijuana est devenue l\u2019or vert de ce pays principalement boudhiste qui pr\u00e9voit entre autres d\u2019acheter un cannabis \u00e0 base de 12% de CBD pour un montant de 45 000 bahts par kilo (environ 1 250 euros). Il est d\u00e9sormais possible de faire pousser du chanvre m\u00e9dicinal<\/a> dans l\u2019ensemble du pays, par le biais de fermes sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es qui sont dans l'obligation d\u2019employer un minimum de 7 personnes et de s\u2019associer avec un h\u00f4pital ou institution de sant\u00e9 publique. Cette l\u00e9gislation agrandit l\u2019ouverture du march\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi pour la population locale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Tha\u00eflande a toujours eu une relation tumultueuse avec la Reine verte. En effet, la plante a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e pendant des mill\u00e9naires comme traitement m\u00e9dical traditionnel notamment contre les douleurs musculaires et la fatigue. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019il y a une centaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es que le gouvernement Tha\u00eflandais a banni l\u2019utilisation du cannabis sous toutes ses formes pour ensuite le l\u00e9galiser de nouveau sous sa forme m\u00e9dicale en 2017. Une histoire passionnelle comme dans les films. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suite \u00e0 l\u2019apparition de ces nouvelles l\u00e9gislations, les restaurants locaux ont saut\u00e9 sur l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de ce nouveau march\u00e9, en proposant des repas traditionnels toutefois innovants \u00e0 base de chanvre. Alors la prochaine fois que vous vous baladerez dans le march\u00e9 de Chiang Mai \u00e0 la recherche de repas d\u00e9licieux et peu co\u00fbteux, vous vous laisserez peut-\u00eatre tenter par une soupe de b\u0153uf au chanvre.
