L'\u00cele de Man a mis en place de nouvelles r\u00e9gulations permettant la production, la distribution et l\u2019exportation de cannabis. L\u2019\u00eele est situ\u00e9e entre l'Irlande et le Royaume-Uni, un territoire consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme strat\u00e9gique. Elle, n\u2019\u00e9tant pas un pays membre de l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne, poss\u00e8de un gouvernement ind\u00e9pendant et autonome, qui lui permet de cr\u00e9er librement ses lois sur le cannabis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Haute Cour de Tynwald, le Parlement de l\u2019\u00cele de Man, a approuv\u00e9 cette loi \u00e0 l\u2019unanimit\u00e9, en permettant aux citoyens et aux entreprises autoris\u00e9s de commercialiser des produits \u00e0 base de cannabis, incluant ceux prescrits pour des raisons m\u00e9dicales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toutefois, la nouvelle r\u00e9gulation n\u2019impacte pas sur les consommateurs, puisque l\u2019usage du cannabis reste consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme -ill\u00e9gale- dans l'\u00eele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le cannabis, un synonym de profit<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

M. Lawrie Hooper<\/a> , membre de la Maison des Cl\u00e9s (la chambre basse du Tynwald, le Parlement) pour la ville de Ramsey, et membre du parti LibVan, a affirm\u00e9 que cette nouvelle loi pourrait g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une \u201ccontribution cl\u00e9 vers la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration \u00e9conomique de la post-pand\u00e9mie \u00e0 l\u2019\u00cele de Man\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le gouvernement estime que la production r\u00e9glement\u00e9e de cannabis pourra apporter au tr\u00e9sor de l\u2019\u00cele de Man jusqu\u2019\u00e0 3 millions de livres par an, en plus de cr\u00e9er pr\u00e8s de 250 emplois. Ces chiffres sont estim\u00e9s pour le d\u00e9but du projet, bien qu\u2019il est pr\u00e9vu qu\u2019elles augmenteront lors de la compl\u00e8te mise en \u0153uvre du projet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex Allinson MHK, membre du Parlement de l\u2019\u00eele, a affirm\u00e9 que cette loi \u201c\u00e9tait attendue depuis longtemps\u201d, et qu\u2019ils doivent \u00eatre \"leaders d\u2019un changement plus progressiste sur les politiques li\u00e9es aux drogues\u201d. Peut-\u00eatre qu\u2019il se r\u00e9f\u00e8re \u00e0 la question encore en suspens de la d\u00e9criminalisation de la consommation d\u2019une plante qui apporte seulement de b\u00e9n\u00e9fices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2019, une enqu\u00eate publique fut r\u00e9alis\u00e9e, et un stup\u00e9fiant 95 % des citoyens de l\u2019\u00cele ont assur\u00e9 \u00eatre en faveur de la culture du cannabis pour des raisons m\u00e9dicales.
