El gobierno del primer ministro Edi Rama legalizar\u00e1 el cannabis medicinal en Albania. El pasado mes de febrero, el primer ministro alban\u00e9s solicit\u00f3 la opini\u00f3n de los ciudadanos sobre la legalizaci\u00f3n del cannabis medicinal a trav\u00e9s de una iniciativa de consulta nacional. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Los resultados hablan por s\u00ed solos, ya que el 61 % de los ciudadanos albaneses votaron a favor de la legalizaci\u00f3n del cannabis medicinal. Seg\u00fan los resultados de la encuesta, 308.000 ciudadanos contra 148.000 estaban a favor, mientras que 51.000 dijeron que no ten\u00edan opini\u00f3n sobre la legalizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa voz de los ciudadanos est\u00e1 resonando y haremos exactamente lo que los ciudadanos quieren, algunas cosas m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido, otras m\u00e1s lento. Es un proceso, pero muy pronto, en unos d\u00edas, se ver\u00e1 a los miembros del gabinete que van a salir con compromisos concretos, para devolverle al pueblo la confianza que le devolvi\u00f3 a este proceso\u201d, agreg\u00f3 el Primer Ministro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La ministra de Estado para las Relaciones con el Parlamento, Elisa Spiropali, subray\u00f3 que la legalizaci\u00f3n del cannabis medicinal abrir\u00eda un nuevo frente de trabajo y crecimiento econ\u00f3mico para el pa\u00eds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHemos ganado la lucha contra el cannabis, y Albania ha salido del mapa de pa\u00edses problem\u00e1ticos en este sentido. Por esta y muchas otras razones, observamos que m\u00e1s del 60% de los ciudadanos que respondieron, 309 mil albaneses, est\u00e1n de acuerdo en que el pa\u00eds deber\u00eda permitir el cultivo, procesamiento y exportaci\u00f3n de cannabis estrictamente controlado con fines m\u00e9dicos. Los albaneses juzgan en su mayor\u00eda que tal enfoque desalentar\u00eda la ilegalidad y la criminalidad asociadas con este importante problema, no solo alban\u00e9s sino tambi\u00e9n internacional. Escucharemos su voz por la legalizaci\u00f3n del cannabis medicinal y abriremos un nuevo frente de trabajo y crecimiento econ\u00f3mico poniendo la v\u00eda legal y luchando contra la criminalizaci\u00f3n de este fen\u00f3meno como lo hemos hecho hasta ahora\u201d, dijo Spiropali. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
En 2020, Edi Rama hab\u00eda anunciado que estaba preparando un proyecto de ley para legalizar el cultivo de cannabis medicinal y quer\u00eda abrir un debate p\u00fablico. El pa\u00eds sol\u00eda ser uno de los productores de cannabis m\u00e1s importantes para el mercado negro europeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
