Consciente de sus beneficios terap\u00e9uticos y de los beneficios econ\u00f3micos acerca de la legalizaci\u00f3n del cannabis, Marruecos abre el debate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El 4 de marzo, el gobierno habl\u00f3 abiertamente sobre la posibilidad de legalizar la cultura de la marihuana y de su uso. Hasta ahora, la cultura del \u201ckif\u201d, un tipo de cannabis cultivado espec\u00edficamente en Marruecos, era ilegal, pero ahora se est\u00e1 reconsiderando esta decisi\u00f3n. El gobierno propuso al parlamento un proyecto de ley que implicar\u00eda la legalizaci\u00f3n del cannabis medicinal, una pr\u00e1ctica que ya ha sido legalizada en m\u00e1s de 50 pa\u00edses en el mundo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s de sus beneficios terap\u00e9uticos, Marruecos ahora ve enormes oportunidades econ\u00f3micas al invertir en la industria de la marihuana. De hecho, muchas regiones hist\u00f3ricas, donde el suelo est\u00e1 perfectamente hecho para el cultivo de cannabis, ya est\u00e1n prosperando econ\u00f3micamente. No se puede olvidar tambi\u00e9n que Marruecos es el principal productor mundial de nuestra querida amiga verde. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hasta ahora, como la mayor\u00eda de los pa\u00edses, Marruecos no pod\u00eda llegar a una opini\u00f3n permanente, alternando entre escepticismo y apertura sobre el tema. Una pena, uno podr\u00eda pensar, especialmente porque la cultura legal del cannabis podr\u00eda mejorar los ingresos de los agricultores, protegerlos de las redes internacionales de tr\u00e1fico de drogas y atraer inversiones extranjeras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El 11 de marzo, el gobierno marroqu\u00ed aprob\u00f3 un proyecto de ley que autoriza el uso \u201cm\u00e9dico, cosm\u00e9tico e industrial\u201d del cannabis. Un texto elaborado por el Ministerio del Interior, encabezado por Abdelouafi Laftit, que allana el camino para la legalizaci\u00f3n del cannabis para uso terap\u00e9utico y regula su producci\u00f3n. El texto a\u00fan debe ser discutido y validado por el Parlamento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 Marruecos est\u00e1 dispuesto a legalizar la marihuana ahora? Bueno, el 2 de diciembre de 2020, siguiendo las recomendaciones de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS), la Comisi\u00f3n de Estupefacientes de las Naciones Unidas decidi\u00f3 eliminar el cannabis de la Lista IV de la Convenci\u00f3n \u00danica sobre los Estupefacientes de 1961, donde la planta apareci\u00f3 junto a opioides letales y adictivos, por ejemplo la hero\u00edna. La comisi\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n reconoci\u00f3 oficialmente las propiedades terap\u00e9uticas del cannabis. Esta declaraci\u00f3n de unas de las organizaciones internacionales m\u00e1s famosas tuvo un impacto masivo en todo el mundo.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
