El ministro de sanidad anunci\u00f3 que pondr\u00e1n en marcha la financiaci\u00f3n y ejecuci\u00f3n del proyecto para prescribir medicamentos a base de cannabis a pacientes con determinadas afecciones m\u00e9dicas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

La isla esmeralda vuelve a ser noticia en nuestra secci\u00f3n de actualidad ya que sigue adelante en sus planes para legalizar el cannabis medicinal aprobando nuevas medidas que se incluir\u00e1n en la normativa promulgada en 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El mes de abril del pasado a\u00f1o, Stpehen Donelly, ya anunci\u00f3 el inicio de un servicio delivery<\/a> para evitar el desplazamiento a los Pa\u00edses Bajos de sus ciudadanos en busca de sus recetas. Y no se han detenido aqu\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acceso al Programa de Cannabis Medicinal<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

El Gobierno irland\u00e9s anunci\u00f3 a finales de enero que destinar\u00e1 una partida del presupuesto adicional para el Plan de Servicios de Salud de 4.000 millones de euros al programa medicinal que permitir\u00e1 a los facultativos recetar tratamientos con cannabinoides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tal como publicaron en una nota de prensa<\/a>, las afecciones que podr\u00e1n tratarse con estas sustancias son: la esclerosis m\u00faltiple, n\u00e1useas y v\u00f3mitos intratables asociados a la quimioterapia y casos de la epilepsia<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El prop\u00f3sito principal es facilitar el acceso a un tratamiento alternativo para las enfermedades o casos que el tratamiento convencional no funcione y no presenten otra cura posible. Este ha sido el camino trazado por los expertos de la HPRA (Autoridad Reguladora de Productos Sanitarios) en su informe Cannabis for medical use: a scientific review<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuevas perspectivas para el mercado irland\u00e9s<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

En la primera etapa del programa, los proveedores potenciales solicitaron que sus productos fueran evaluados para comprobar su idoneidad para uso m\u00e9dico y cuatro de ellos han sido aceptados por la HPRA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actualmente, siguen evaluando m\u00e1s productos, que, sumado a la compra de Jazz Pharmaceuticals<\/a>, vemos c\u00f3mo se va dibujando una estrategia bastante definida para la industria farmac\u00e9utica irlandesa encaminada al nuevo oro verde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los productos cannabicos parece que van a convertirse en uno de los productos estrella poscovid; en Estados Unidos ya se permite en algunos lugares incluso su uso recreacional<\/a> a modo de soma de Aldous Huxley\u2026 \u00bfHa venido para quedarse?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
