Hemp has been used for centuries by the textile industry until it got discarded in favor of other materials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the LCB association (Lin et Chanvre Bio), hemp “is not very sensitive to diseases and insects (…) and does not require weeding,” which means it doesn’t require pesticides to grow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The plant is also drought-tolerant; therefore, it requires less water to grow. The answer lies in its transformation process.
