We would like to share with you the story of Charlotte Figi, who has been recognized worldwide as the youngest patient using CBD to treat her condition: Dravet syndrome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case you didn’t know, Dravet syndrome is a very serious epileptic encephalopathy that begins in the first year of life, with seizures generally triggered by fever, followed by drug-resistant epilepsy. From the second year on, the child’s cognitive development slows down; This type of epilepsy is characterized by frequent seizures, which are usually triggered in normal situations. It also creates a stagnation in cognitive development and the appearance of behavior problems and other associated problems such as orthopedic, growth or eating disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Charlotte lived with this type of epilepsy, she was able to live her life to the fullest thanks to her family who wanted to treat her rare and harsh epilepsy with CBD oil.
Charlotte’s seizures decreased from 300 a week, at age 5, to once a month, and she also began making eye contact, talking, and even walking.
For nine years, thanks to CBD, she had the opportunity to live a life much like that of any girl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
