When Jeffrey Lee was growing up he played in the corn fields with his friends, but times have changed and his children now play in a much greener crop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lee\u2019s mom is a 15-year breast cancer survivor. \u201cThe chemo and the radiation pretty much almost killed her,\u201d Lee said. Lee knew he had no choice when his mother was diagnosed with cancer for the second time. He had to make quality \u0643\u0627\u0646\u0627\u0628\u064a\u062f\u064a\u0648\u0644<\/a> (cannabidiol) and CBG (cannabigerol) for her. \u201cI just couldn\u2019t fathom her not being able to take medicine like this,\u201d Lee said. So his journey began, off to Colorado to learn how to grow from some of the best in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He came back with a wealth of knowledge to add to his vegetable growing experience and created what’s today a flourishing CBD\/CBG company that not only helped save Lees mom but provides for his family now and continues to help others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHAT ARE CBD AND CBG?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

CBD and CBG are two of more than 120 known naturally occurring cannabinoids found in hemp. \u201cOnly a handful have been extracted,\u201d Lee said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jones said CBD and CBG act on an enzyme that prevents the metabolism of the body\u2019s natural endocannabinoids \u2014 molecules naturally created by the body that are similar to cannabinoids. \u201cIt causes relaxation, better learning and memory,\u201d Jones said. They\u2019re also an appetite stimulant and anti-inflammatory. While CBD is commonly sold these days, CBG is an emerging product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201d(CBG) is the mother of the whole plant,\u201d Lee said. \u201cIt\u2019s really the best cannabinoid that there is.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP, MARIJUANA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While hemp and marijuana are both cannabis plants, the major thing that separates them is hemp\u2019s extremely low THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). THC is the compound that gives marijuana its psychoactive effects. \u201cHemp has to be less than 0.3 percent THC,\u201d Jones said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lee said his hemp tested at less than 0.1 percent, and their products that use CBD isolates have no THC at all. Which is not an easy task, remaining compliant in a heavily regulated industry is tough, but with the strains and genetics coming from farms in Switzerland<\/a> Lee can rest assured he is producing quality products from his plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
