Huge catch for an adolescent who faces three drug charges. Two of these crimes are serious since it involves the sale of marijuana and LSD. The third is less severe since it is for possession of marijuana. Unfortunately, 17-year-old Kyle Emond was indicted on December 10 in the Circuit Court of Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. He is convicted of all three counts, faces around 16 years in prison and $ 40,000 in fines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the criminal complaint, the bailiffs executed a search warrant at Emond’s home on December 9. Officers found quite a few products, all of which come from the cannabis plant. They found four glass jars containing 256 grams of marijuana and 101 vape cartridges with one ounce of THC oil in each. In addition there were vacuum-sealed bags labeled “Good Weed Ain’t Cheap,” 100 silicone containers, $ 6,000 in cash, and a backpack with nine packages of THC-infused candy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, when officers went down to the basement they found more than just cannabis products .They discovered a vaporizer cartridge and perforated blotter wrapped in aluminum foil. A field test of the article yielded a positive result for LSD. Officers found more jars filled with marijuana and $ 692 in Kyle’s wallet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultimately, Emond was released on a $ 3,000 bond and on the condition that he did not possess or use controlled substances. Or even prescription drugs without a prescription, in addition to not having THC related products and vaping devices. Luckily he will not be in prison for 16 years as he was sentenced at the beginning, since it is a brutality. Although for now, and under the cannabis laws in the state of Wisconsin, Cannabis is illegal for recreational use, and possession of any amount is punishable by up to 6 months in prison and a $ 1000 fine for the first offense. A second offense is punishable as a felony with up to 3.5 years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
